I’m getting my first LV item tomorrow. And I’ve settled for the Alma BB. But I’m torn between the mono and DE. I love the monogram look, and my eyes always draw to that design more but I know it will get dirty easier. I would be devastated if it got watermarks!
There have been tons of threads asking advise about the different Alma BB materials. I happen to have an Epi, Patent Leather, DE Canvas and Monogram Canvas. I was asked to review each of these beauties individually. Depends on where you live, if it rains a lot I would recommend the damier ebene. Next to this I would also take into account that when a corner wears through (after years and years of heavy use) the red lining on damier ebene will peek through, for monogram the lining is a more similar shade compared to the monogram. 3.The Alma BB handbag traces its pedigree to the Art Deco original, introduced in 1934.
