From what I understand, it's only the SBSS Milanese Loop because it has a DLC coating, which is harder than the ceramic and sapphire glass coating. The regular SS Milanese Loop does not scratch the ceramic back nor the sapphire glass coating on the front. The Milanese Loop, however, with its busy, tightly weaved stainless steel mesh pattern, does an excellent job of resisting and hiding scratches.
