How is the sillage, and longevity of Creed Original Vetiver? Creed Original Vetiver has excellent projection, and a monstrous sillage. The performance of the fragrance is marvellous, it smells great, and is one of the nicest fresh, spicy fragrances I’ve encountered to day. Original Vetiver is amazing, and really convinced me to really try as many Creed fragrances as I could. I originally loved Aventus Cologne (and still do!), and I went from having only a bottle of that to 6 Creeds. Sprayed on skin in the morning (around 8 or 9). Can smell of my wrist the next day: BdP, Original Vetiver. Can smell of my wrist in the evening (so 10 to 12h): Aventus, GIT, Himalaya, Royal Oud, Royal Mayfair, Royal Water, Vetiver Geranium, Viking.
Creed is such an easy to wear brand. I’ve never disliked a fragrance for its smell that I’ve tried of theirs. So far I’ve tried GIT, VIW, SMW, Millesime Imperial, Royal Oud and Aventus. I’m looking to try original vetiver, original santal and Viking soon here too. I’ve been thoroughly impressed by every Creed I’ve tried so far.
Vetiver by Creed is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. Vetiver was launched in 1948. The nose behind this fragrance is Henry Creed Fourth Generation. Top notes are Citruses and Bergamot; middle note is Ginger; base notes are Vetyver, Ambergris and Virginia Cedar. Really looking forward to hearing your advice/experience with the Original Vetiver (or maybe Creed in general)! Click to expand. If you are applying your fragrance directly after washing oils off of your skin, then this can limit the longevity of your fragrance. It’s on the upper end of moderate, in my mind. This fragrance has very good longevity and I get a full day’s wear out of it. Most all, Creed scents will give you this type of performance, as they are typically so well crafted. At least 8 hours, is pretty standard with this one, and can go over 10.
